A tiny yellow ant that is one of the most difficult indoor pests to eliminate. Can spread through entire buildings via wall voids.

Health risks

Carries and transmits over a dozen pathogens including Salmonella and Streptococcus. Particularly dangerous in hospitals.

  • ✓Tiny yellow or pale ants in kitchens and bathrooms
  • ✓Trails along pipes and wiring
  • ✓Nests inside walls, insulation and appliances
  • ✓Presence near food and moisture

Prevention

  • ✓Seal all food in airtight containers
  • ✓Fix leaking pipes immediately
  • ✓Seal cracks in walls and around pipes
  • ✓Keep surfaces clean and free of food debris
